Funny how blogging can get you off your lazy ass. I took the Christmas tree down today. By myself, and put it away and everything. There is no more Christmas in the house, no more cookies, no more candy, no more presents. If you say you need to do something on your blog , it kinda takes all the excuses and blows them out the window. Especially when you get a comment about somebody else that hasn't taken down decorations, not them of course, but their neighbors. Every block has the people who don't take down their lights until umm say June when you might as well just leave them up, but quit plugging them in for god's sake. I would go ahead and test my theory by leaving a laundry list on my blog of things that have been neglected but I'm too tired to do anything else today. Besides I cleaned when the guy was here today to take down two ceiling fans and put up chandeliers instead. Me likey the dingle-dangly shiny baubles on the chandelier! Pretty! And why was there a ceiling fan in the dining room and the kitchen to begin with???!! The one fan was attached to the truss of the roof, for real. This fucker isn't going to come crashing down now that it replaces that fan.

Steph-It worked like a charm though. Otherwise I would still be sitting here trying to develop my pyhsic abilities.
Our Xmas cards are still up. But the tree and lights were down by Jan 6, because we are wimps who bow to peer pressure. I've noticed some other parts of our neighborhood have more relaxed time tables. Sometimes I hate my street.
That chandelier looks awfully familiar.
Cyd- Jan 6 was our deadline too, but I was sick.. And about the chandelier of course it does look familiar, you have the table that use to be under it.
My tree is still up, but I've boxed up the ornaments. I'm currently using Tree Faerie as my excuse for not taking down the tree yet... My weekends are already overfilled, so when she decided she'd only have one nap a day, that severely limited what I could get done while she napped.
ok, ok phew!
