Baby Shopping

It has come to my attention that maybe another animal would be welcomed into our home. I'm not sure who started it, but it was one of three people. Those people would be Me, Mom, or Honey. Everybody has a motive for the baby I think, so today I went baby shopping..for a kitten. On Saturday at Petco they do the adopt a cat thing. So of course I want to rescue a kitty and give it a new home. They didn't have much in the way of kittens and Honey wasn't with me, I basically fell in love with one fiesty little guy named Magic and two older cats that were there for donation only, they were a few years old and the owners gave them up, sad. They were large and pretty, one was outgoing ,the other shy and they stuck together like glue..but alas, we want a BABY kitty, so we can laugh at it, play with it, hold it..you get the picture we want to be there for the formative years. I think we are going to sleep on it for another week or so, introducing a new pet into the house is going to be full of drama with our spoiled pets. We all sleep in the same bed, we all hang out in the same room..and everybody has their own quirky personality. Attention whores the lot of us.

WOW. you must have a huge bed.LOL

Just with scruffy and us in our queen, we sometimes debate whether another dog is in our cards. :)

Good luck finding a new kitty. :)

I wanted to get a kitten once, so logically i went to the Vet (no pets stores near me). I go to the vet and you know where they told me to go and get one? The Newsagents. Yep, where they sell papers! I thought it was a joke, but i went and found loads of kittens.

Go figure!

Awww a new baby in the house! Kittens are so cute. If I wasn't allergic I would have one.

Good luck finding the right kitty for you.

Is your bed a King?

A new pet always adds something special to any house. I would have dozens if I could!

I want a pet but I am allergic to kitties. I kinda want a little doggie but I'm afraid they're too high-maintenance. But I want someone to be happy when I come home! Any suggestions?

We think about getting another kitty a lot and spend a lot of time cooing over them at Petco when the rescue organization is there. Cindy, on the other hand, has different ideas. She might get used to it, but after 11 years of being in charge, it would be a battle. Good luck! It sounds like fun!

For those of you wondering where TTQ is, I talked to her earlier today. Seems that her ISP has detected a large amount of spam coming from one of her computers. So they have shut down her connection. She's working to get it restored. Now, she may claim no knowledge of this nefarious activity, but . . .

Seriously, she's going through withdrawal and hopes to get to a Starbucks with her laptop soon.

Rescue is the only way I go from catching feral babies, to adopting from the rescue group at Petco or even the pound!
